Approaching Autumn

Now that we have entered into September, our summer is well and truly over! Although, autumn time doesn't officially begin here in the UK until the 23rd of September. This makes me extremely sad as I much prefer the hotter months of the year, however, I am really excited about some of the fall fashion trends that are circulating on the high street at the moment! I am obsessed with all things burgundy, khaki green and tan coloured at the moment as you can probably tell by my picks in this post. I am also loving suede and tassels right now, which are obviously one of the two biggest up and coming trends this year!

I am looking to add some of these colours and textures into my wardrobe soon and so today, I thought that I would make a little list of some of the items that I am lusting after. There are some really affordable and timeless pieces out there right now and these are some of my favourites;

So, those are some of the best pieces that I have seen so far on the high street this autumn! What is your favourite item that I have included in this post? What trends are you going to be rocking as we transition into this new season? As always, let me know by leaving a comment down below!

Festival Fashion

After seeing lots of celebrities looking absolutely fabulous at this years Coachella in California, I have become slightly obsessed with festival fashion once again! It's one of my favourite looks of all time because I think that festivals allow you to be really unique and play up your own sense of personal style! One of my favourite celebs that gets this style just right year after year is Vanessa Hudgens - she is definitely one of my major style crushes! So with that in mind, I decided to put together my very own music festival inspired look. All of the items featured are from Topshop, Miss Selfridge and New Look (three of my fave high street shops!)

Hand Crocheted Bralet - £36.00
Crochet is one of the most popular trends during festival season and this top fits the bill perfectly! I love the rusty red colour of this one in particular. What I also like about this bralet is that the straps are relatively thick, so you can still get away with wearing a bra with straps on it for some extra support!

Floral Tile Print Shorts - £28.00
The pattern of these shorts match the crop top perfectly and they make such a cute combo! I think that you really cannot go wrong with a pair of high waisted shorts as they cinch you in at the waist, which gives you a lovely silhouette.

Geo Cutout Ring Pack - £8.50
This set of gold midi rings are so simple, yet really on trend and wearing multiple rings on each hand really jazzes up an outfit and takes it to the next level.

Semi Precious Stretch Bracelet - £8.50
Of course, this bracelet also ties in with the outfit perfectly! I love the design of this and I think it just adds that little something extra to this already adorable outfit.

Tan Buckle Front Saddle Bag - £10.99
Of course, at any festival you need a bag to store your essentials in and this one is the perfect size. It's really practical as it has a strap so that you can wear it securely across your body and it will not slip off of your shoulder in and amongst the crowds. Plus, the tan colour contrasts really well with the red and black outfit.

Tan Chain Front Ankle Strap Sandals - £22.99
To math the saddle bag and bring the whole outfit together, I have chosen these lovely flat sandals from New Look. It is vital to wear shoes that will be comfortable all day long yet still be fashionable at the same time. I love how the gold chain detail coincides with the jewellery that I have chosen too!

So guys, that is the festival inspired look that I have put together for you! Whats your favourite item? Are you going to any festivals this summer and what will you be wearing? I'd love to know, so feel free to leave me a little comment down below!

Make Your Own Christmas Pamper Pack

Ever since I became addicted to all things beauty, every year my Mum has made me a little pamper kit for Christmas and I think that it's such a sweet idea! Filling up a cute make-up bag with lots of beauty related goodies is a great way to treat the ladies in your life. From lip glosses to bath bombs, the possibilities are endless when creating pamper packs for your friends and family. The great thing about this gift idea is that you can easily personalise each kit that you create depending on who you are making it for and what their likes & dislikes are. Today I have compiled a small list of both make up bags and some products to put inside them, just to give you all a few ideas! As always with Christmas blog posts, I have tried to include a variation of products all with different price points - which means there will definitely be some suggestions for you, regardless of your budget. So without any further ado, here is my list of make-up bags and girly goodies to give you some gifting inspiration!

Make-Up Bags (as seen above)

Beauty Bits

As well as the products that I have mentioned above, here are some addition ideas as to what you could include in your pamper packs; face masks, lipstick/lip gloss, make-up brushes, nail art stickers, false eyelashes, shower gel, massage oil and candles.

Overall, it's clear to see that there are no limitations when it comes to making your own pamper pack. There are lots of great things that you can include in them regardless of how big or small your budget it is! I hope that my post has given you a little bit of inspiration of what to buy for your loved ones this festive season. Are you planning on making a bag up for someone? Which products mentioned do you like the look of? Please let me know by leaving a comment below :)

My Monthly Favourites - November 2014

Hi guys. I am extremely excited that we have now come to the end of November because we can now well and truly focus on all things Christmas! I cannot wait to put up all of our decorations, wrap up tons of presents and eat too much indulgent food. However, before I can do all of those things, I have the small matter of my monthly favourites to address! I have to admit that I haven't been too adventurous beauty-wise this month as I have had a lot of days indoors or have just been running errands, but I still have a few bits so share with you all. So let's get started!

Garnier Body Oil Beauty Nourishing Lotion - £4.99
First up, my skin has gotten very dry all of sudden now that the cold weather is finally upon us. So when I saw this body lotion from Garnier on the shelf, I just had to pick it up. The fact that this particular lotion was oil-infused made me think that it could do wonders for my skin - and I was right! Not only does it nourish and hydrate my skin but the formulation of the lotion is amazing. It's very smooth and easy to rub in, so you don't have to do too much work in that respect. Although it doesn't sink in super fast, it still does it in less time than you would expect for such a rich product. I would highly recommend this to anybody who's skin needs an extra boost of moisture!

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Standout - £7.99
Like most beauty bloggers around this time of year, I love a good red lip! There's something about it that just screams Christmas and I recently rediscovered my Revlon matte balm in amongst my ever-growing lip crayon collection! The main reason that I love this crayon is because even though its matte, it is not at all drying on the lips. As well as this, it has great staying power too. As for the red colour itself, 'Standout' is a gorgeous true red shade that would suit a whole range of different skin tones. It's definitely a must-have product for me right now!

Nivea Sensitive Day Cream - £4.49
As I mentioned earlier, since the bitter cold weather has set in, my skin has gone haywire and in turn it is very dry in places. However, I have also noticed that my skin in the past month or so has a lot of redness too. So, I picked up this sensitive day cream from Nivea because I had already tried the Rich Moisturising version in the past and loved it. This version claims to reduce redness, tightness and dryness - which I totally agree with. I have really been enjoying this moisturiser a lot and so far it has helped with hydrating my dry patches a lot. Plus as it is quite rich in texture, a little goes a long way with this product, so I have a feeling that this tube is going to last me for quite a while.

Lush Ultrabland Cleanser - £7.25
This cleanser from Lush is an old favourite of mine and I always come back to it! Sometimes I think that its a good idea to go back to basics with skincare and really strip it back, as let's face it, us beauty bloggers use a large concoction of products on our faces! The fact that Lush's skincare is so natural really appeals to me and Ultrabland is the perfect gentle cleanser for me. Its ingredients include almond oil and beeswax, which means that it leaves your skin feeling so soft and supple. As it is a balm cleanser, Ultrabland is also excellent at removing all traces of make-up without leaving a greasy residue like most oil-based cleansers do. Overall, I will always purchase this cleanser time and time again because it's just excellent and gets the job done!

Miss Selfridge Body Mist - £4.00
Last but not least is this gorgeous body mist from Miss Selfridge. I have to admit that this was a bit of an impulse buy whilst out with my Mum in our local Arcadia store. The mist was right at the checkout and I normally dismiss products like that but this time, I couldn't resist. After spritzing it, I realised that the fragrance was an incredible quality seeing as it was made by a high street clothing brand. On their website, the scent is described as being a blend of lemongrass, ginger and rosemary; so as you can imagine, it is a light and fresh smell. I tend to use the mist on days where I am not doing too much and I do not want to reach for some of my more expensive perfumes - and it certainly does the trick. For such a budget friendly product, I am really impressed with it and I highly recommend to all of you!

So, those are my five beauty favourites for the month of November. I hope you enjoyed reading all about them! Which products do you like the sound of? What are your favourites this month? Please let me know by leaving a comment below. As I said earlier on, I am really happy that November is now over because now I can well and truly get into the Christmas spirit. Also, remember to stay tuned to my blog in the up and coming weeks to see lots of festive posts! Thank you :)

My Miss Selfridge Wish List

Hi guys. I realised the other day that I have not done a fashion wishlist in quite a long time, as I have been mainly focused on beauty blogging lately but today I have decided to mix it up a little. Personally, I think that Miss Selfridge have really upped their game in the past couple of months and they have some amazing pieces on their website and in-store at the moment. So, today I have picked five items that I am seriously lusting after and that are firmly on my style wish list!

Feather Print 90s Crop - £9.60
First and foremost, my favourite item of the bunch is this gorgeous feather print crop top. If some of you have been reading my blog for a while, you would know that I have an obsession with crop tops but I tend to stick to more floral patterns. I think that this print is really unique and different, plus I love that it is monochrome too! I think that this top could be really versatile for dressing up or down and it is quite the bargain as well!

Mint Wrap Skirt - £20.00
I have never bought a skort before, even though I think that they are super fun and flattering, but something about this mint number caught my eye. I love the simplicity of it and it would look great with a whole range of different tops too. Due to the fact that the mint colour is incredibly bright, it would look amazing with a tan as well!

Bumble Bee Ring - £4.50
My jewellery collection isn't very extensive but I do love wearing rings! I love this golden bumble bee ring as it is plain and dainty enough to go with any outfit. As I have small hands and fingers, I'm not a huge fan of large statement rings, so this cute accessory is right up my alley!

Tres Chic Clutch - £16.00
Embossed clutch bags have been a major trend lately and I think that the concept of them is so cute! I love the variety of different bags with phrases on that you can now find on the high street. I tend to stick to black bags when I go out as I am usually wearing a patterned bodycon dress of some sort (that's my signature style) but the added detail on this clutch spices up an otherwise plain bag that would therefore be perfect for taking your essentials in on a night out!

Petite Acid High Waist Jeans - £27.20
Last but not least, as autumn is fastly approaching, I am on the hunt for some new jeans to add into my collection. Due to only being 5ft2, I always have to go for petite jeans and these ones are really lovely. The fact that they are high waisted means that I can still wear crop tops and not expose too much flesh, plus I really like the acid wash effect on the denim too!

So, those are the five items from Miss Selfridge that have a place on my fashion wishlist, I hope you have enjoined reading about them! What is your favourite item in this post? What is currently on your wish list? Please let me know be leaving a comment below! :)

Top Of The Crops | My Current Favourite Crop Tops

Hi guys. Crop tops have become a major trend over the past few years and there is no sign of their popularity slowing down. With so many different patterns, colours, cuts and fits on the market, there is definitely a flattering and suitable crop top out there for everyone. The high street have got some amazing summer pieces at the moment, so today I thought that I would share some of my favourites with you. Let's get started!

90's Blue Floral Crop - £12.00
First up is this cute little number from Miss Selfridge. I am a huge fan of floral prints (as you can probably tell) and I love the blurry, watercolour effect of this particular crop top. I think that it is really pretty without being too in your face. This high neck line is all the rage at the moment too and I think that it would look great with my high-waisted Topshop jeans. Plus for £12, it is quite the bargain!

Pretty Lace Trim Crop Top - £28.00
Next up is this white, embroidered crop top from Topshop. I absolutely love this top because it has a different fit and style compared to the majority of the the items that I have included in this post. The cut of this is very unique, as it goes up into a slight point at the hemline - which is a great extra detail, as well as the feminine trim around the hemline.

Purple Floral Tee - £30.00
I am in love with this top from Miss Selfridge! Purple is my favourite colour, however, I do not have a lot of it in my wardrobe for some reason. I love this top mainly for its bold and colourful print, it's just gorgeous! I also really like the fact that this top has a slightly looser fit and isn't bodycon, like most crop tops are. I think this piece is very versatile and could definitely be dressed up or down.

Tropical Seamed Bralet - £12.00
This number from Topshop is bang on trend at the moment. Tropical print is all the rage this summer and the colours of this crop top are simply gorgeous! I love that this top is so versatile and I think that it would look great with either a pair of denim shorts or a flowy, black maxi skirt. I think that this top would be perfect if you are going abroad this summer!

Yellow Daisy Print Racer Front Crop Top - £12.00
This daisy print top from River Island is next on my list.Although I am personally not a huge fan of wearing yellow because I'm blonde, I think that colour would look absolutely gorgeous with a tan. I also love that the monochrome daisies are all different sizes, I think it gives a really nice effect. As with the blue floral top above, the neckline of this is really fashionable at the moment too.

Miami Bra Top - £30.00
Last but not least is this beaufiful pastel, tropical print crop top from Miss Selfridge. I would definitely say that this top is more appropriate for night time occasions due to its V-neck shape, which will obviously expose your cleavage a little. There is also a matching skort to go with this bralet on the website for those of you who love the co-ordinate look!

I hope you all enjoyed reading about the crop tops I am loving and that are available on the high street at the moment. Which one is your favourite? Are you a fanof the crop top trend? Please let me know by leaving a comment below. Thank you!
