The up and coming launch of Urban Decay's new Sheer Revolution lipstick is causing quite a stir in the beauty world at the moment. Everything about this product seems absolutely perfect; the packaging, the shade range and the price point. This lipstick is just a mere part of Urban Decay's new spring 2015 launch, however, as there are another four more new additions to this incredible brand. The other new products are the Naked Skin concealer, Naked Skin powder foundation, Moon Dust eyeshadows and the Mascara Resurrection. However, today I have decided to focus on what I think is the most exciting launch out of the five!
The new Sheer Revolution lipstick claims to be a sheer, yet still highly pigmented and shiny version of the classic Revolution lipstick that we all know and love. The product is described as being rich and creamy on the lips, as well as being deemed as buttery smooth upon application too! As far as the ingredients for the lipstick goes, it contains shea butter and jojoba, olive & babassu oils to keep your lips feeling really nourished. The formula also includes something called 'Maxi Lip,' which makes your pout look fuller and plumper!
As for the shade range, there are 10 different colours to choose from within the range. In my opinion, there is definitely a shade in there for everybody as there is a mixture of both neutral and bold colours. One of the main colours that caught my eye is 'Sheer Shame,' which looks like a gorgeous vivid purple shade. Another one of my favourites looking at the swatches below has got to be 'Sheer Streak.' I think that this coral shade will look stunning as we enter into spring and summer!
So far the new spring collection is only featured on the American Urban Decay website, so I'm not sure on what the price of the lipstick will be in the UK yet. Although, with that being said, the product is $22 which converts to about £15 (which is also the same price of the original Revolution lipstick.) So, I'm guessing that would be roughly what the price will be when it eventually hits the British shelves!
Overall, without actually being able to test out the product itself yet, I think that Sheer Revolution is going to be a huge hit judging by the description and the swatches f the product online! Hi guys! Today I thought that I would share with you a couple of items that are currently on my beauty wish list. I have vowed to keep my expenditure of new products to a minimum until I have used up what I already have but the occasional treat can't hurt, eh? I am hoping to get my hands on these products very soon! So, without any further ado, here's what I have been eyeing up so far in 2014!
1. Essie Luxe Effects Nail Polish in Set In Stone - £7.99
First up is this gorgeous polish from Essie. I first mentioned this nail varnish in my November Favourites because my Mum bought me the pink shade, A Cut Above, as a little treat. Now, I am just itching to get another colour from the Luxe Effects collection. Although this product is designed to be used as a top coat on top of another polish, I like to build it up with a couple of coats to achieve an opaque look. The end result is really glitzy and makes me feel glamorous. Plus, it's chip resistant for roughly a week which makes it a winner in my books!
2. Tangle Teezer in Pink - £10.99
Next up is the infamous Tangle Teezer. The main reason that I want to purchase this particular brush is because 1) I have heard great things about it and 2) my wide tooth comb has seen better days. As I have fine hair, it tends to get knotted very quickly - especially because I curl my hair most of the time. So, I want to purchase a high quality brush that is great at untangling both wet and dry hair. I will definitely be buying this product in the near future!
3. Benefit Erase Paste in Fair - £19.50
This concealer has been on my wishlist for quite a while now. Even though I am young and sleep well, I am prone to dark circles under my eyes and so I always look for concealers that are brightening. Up until now I have been using Rimmel's Wake Me Up Concealer (which is a great and affordable product) but I have heard that this particular Benefit product has a much higher coverage, which is what I need. Plus, who can resist Benefit's adorable packaging? I know I can't!
4. Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms - £7.99
Last but not least, and the product that I am most excited about buying, are the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms. The reason that I haven't purchased this lip product is because they are not available in the UK for another week or so. Anybody that has been reading my posts for a while will know that I am obsessed with the brands Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stains, so I cannot wait to try the matte version of these lip crayons. After reading a very detailed review of this product on Lily Melrose's blog, the colours I am most drawn to trying are Sultry (a muted, pinky nude) and Shamless (a blue-toned deep purple.) Not only are Revlon bringing out ten matte crayons but they are also re-branding the Kissable Lip Stains, (now named ColorBurst Lacquer Balms,) and are bringing out ten new shades of those too. Revlon are on top of their game at the moment and I cannot wait to try them!

I hate it when people think that anxiety is not an illness. Anxiety isn't just when you get nervous before a test. It isn't when you feel a little shaky before an interview. It isn't when you get a few butterflies whilst talking to somebody you like. Anxiety prevents you from doing simple everyday tasks that others do not even bat an eyelash at. Fear takes over your entire body without any warning, and even though you know that your thoughts are irrational - you cannot shake the feeling that something terrible is going to happen.
New places, large crowds and situations where I cannot escape can all trigger absolute panic inside my mind. People often think that I use my anxiety as an excuse to get out of doing things, but this is not the case at all. I cannot pick and choose what triggers my anxiety, it is beyond my control and it upsets me when people do not believe me. Panic attacks are terrifying and they leave me feeling dizzy, weak and extremely nauseous. So why would I choose to have one on purpose?
These past few months have been horrible for me and my anxiety is worse than it has ever been. I am taking small steps but it’s not easy and it is extremely upsetting. I try to go out and slowly build up to doing things, yet I feel as if I am going nowhere. I am not improving. I feel like I am often a coward because I do not push myself, because I am just too afraid of failing and letting people down. I am so open about my anxiety and write about it a lot. This is because I feel like I should not be ashamed of it, and if one person on here reads my posts and realises that they are not alone - that will make me extremely happy.
