The Best Setting Spray In The World!
On Monday, I repurchased yet another bottle of my all-time favourite make-up setting spray, Urban Decay's All Nighter! Up until sometime last year, I had never used a setting spray before and I actually thought that they were a bit of a gimmick but after reading lots of rave reviews online, I took the plunge and my mind was changed almost instantaneously!
I have combination to oily skin and in the past, I always had trouble with make-up literally sliding off of my face during the course of the day (especially on my T-zone area.) However, since setting my face everyday with both pressed powder and a few spritzes of this spray, my make-up stays perfect for much longer! Of course, this product isn't a miracle worker; if it's a super hot day or I have a long shift at work, some shininess may still come through and affect my foundation ever so slightly but aside from those instances, my base always looks pretty much flawless! I could literally apply my make-up at 7am and it would still be in tact at midnight, which I think is pretty incredible if you ask me! It even stands the test of time when I go out clubbing at the weekends too and you definitely can't ask for much more than that!
I personally like to buy the travel size version of All Nighter (£9.00) instead of the original size because it fits nicely in my make-up brush holder, which in turn means that I will never forget to apply it! Plus, of course, it is much easier to pack if you want to take it on holiday with you.
Urban Decay do also have another setting spray in their repertoire called De-Slick - which is specifically targeted for oily skin types. Although, I have heard that it doesn't have quite as much staying power as the All Nighter does, which is why I have never opted to try it out even if I do fall into the oily skin category.
I do not think that I will ever stray away from All Nighter... I mean, why mess with a good thing?! It is one of the best and readily available setting sprays on the market and I know that I can rely on it no matter what. So, if you haven't tried out this amazing holy grail products already, why not? I can guarantee that you are going to love it just as much as I do!

My Summer Beauty Essentials
Hi guys. Instead of doing my usual monthly favourites post, today I thought that I would talk you through my summer essentials instead. The main reason for this is that I haven't really got any new favourites at the moment, as I have been chopping and changing between products a lot and not sticking to a few key items. As the weather in the UK is pretty great (although humid) right now, I thought this would be an appropriate time to share which products keep me looking and feeling pretty during these high heats. Let's get started!
Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion - £5.10
First up is my current go-to tanning product, Garnier's Summer Body. The reason that I love this product so much is because I am not an avid tanner and so I do not like using fully-fledged tanning products in the form of mousses and so on. A moisturiser with a hint of tan is enough for me! Not only does this product leave me with a gorgeous, sunkissed colour, it also glides on seamlessly and sinks in relatively quick too! Plus, it's very affordable and has a pleasant apricot scent instead of that awful biscuit smell that most tanning products produce! Overall, this is a great lotion to use if you want a result that is not too in your face or unnatural. I will be using this time and time again!
Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Scrub - £8.00
Next up is my all time favourite body scrub, Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush. The scent of this is amazing! The combination of brown sugar and lime makes this product almost good enough to it and a joy to use. As for the scrub itself, it strikes the perfect balance between being gentle and abrasive. The gritty granules slough away at dry patches incredibly well but without irritating the skin too much or making it red, which is perfect! A little goes a long way as the tub is so large, which means you definitely get a lot for your money too. I would highly recommend this!
Sure Women Maximum Protection Deodorant - £5.30
I suppose that deodorants do not get a lot of mention on beauty blogs because let's face it, they're pretty standard and not that exciting to talk about. However, I have been so impressed by this one by Sure. Plus, it's a little different! I think a lot of people that have used this product have been using it in the morning but the box actually suggests that you apply this at night time instead, which is what I have been doing. The cream simply twists up and then it can be applied straight to your underarms. I find the scent really pleasant but of course, the main factor is that it keep sweat and odours at bay - which it does! As it is a cream, it is also very moisturising which is an added bonus for those with dry or sensitive underarms. This deodorant is a must have for summer, as well as all year round too!
Urban Decay Travel Size All Nighter Make Up Setting Spray - £9.00
Last but not least, and one of my favourites of the bunch, is this make-up setting spray from Urban Decay. I am sure that all of us regularly suffer from our make-up sliding off our faces throughout the day, especially when its hot, but this spray has actually revolutionised my routine. Once I have applied all of my make-up for the day, I simply spritz a couple of sprays of the product evenly across my face. No matter how long I have my make-up on for, All Nighter does a great job of setting my face and making sure that it does not wear off throughout the day. It also prevents a large majority of shine and oiliness coming through, which is also handy as I have combination skin. I do only have the travel size but I have a feeling that it will last me a long while, plus this version is a lot friendly on the old purse strings!
I hope you all enjoyed reading about my summer essentials. All of the items mentioned above have helped me out a lot during the hot weather and I highly recommend them! Have you tried any of these products before? What are your own summer essentials? Please let me know by leaving a comment below, I love recommendations. Thank you!

My Monthly Favourites - June 2014
Hi guys, it's that time of the month again to talk about the products I have been loving throughout the month of June! I did not do a favourites post last month as I wasn't really enjoying any new products and I decided to do a two part birthday haul instead (you can check out part one here and part two here.) However, since receiving lots of lovely gifts last month, I have been using a ton of new products and I have fallen in love with a lot of them. So, without any further ado, here are my favourite beauty products that I have been using over the last 30 days. Enjoy!
Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion - £5.10
First up is a product that I did a full review of on my blog last week, Garnier's Summer Body Moisturising Lotion. This lotion is a really lightweight gradual tanner which gives your skin the most amazing sun-kissed colour. I have never been into fake tanning too much as I find it quite laborious but this is a great alternative for me. I love the end result that this product gives, plus it is so simple to use. I love how quickly it sinks in, so I do not have to wait ages for it to dry before getting dresses again. I highly recommend Summer Body to tanning novices like myself and what's even better about it is that the lotion smells like apricots instead of your typical fake tan biscuit-y smell too.
Benefit That Gal Brightening Face Primer - £22.50 (for full size)
Next is this amazing primer from Benefit. This mini version is part of the 'Do The Bright Thing' beauty kit that my brother bought me for my birthday. That Gal is a brightening primer that gives the most gorgeous glow to the skin. I apply this product underneath my foundation and it just makes my entire face look illuminated and radiant. Whenever I have worn this so far, I have always received compliments on how good my skin looks - which instantly makes it a winner in my books! A little goes a long way with this product but when my tiny tube does run out, I will definitely be purchasing the full-size version of this!
Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser - £6.95
After going on a spontaneous trip to Lush last month, I found myself buying the Ultrabland Facial Cleanser. Up until then, I had only ever used bath products from Lush but a lovely assistant showed me this cleanser after I said that I wanted to treat myself to something new. Since then, I have been using Ultrabland every evening on my skin to remove all traces of dirt and make-up - I'm on my second tub now! Although the cleanser itself is very thick, it has very gentle and natural ingredients (such as almond oil and rose water) in it which help to soothe, nourish and soften my skin. It's safe to say that I am not a huge fan of this product and I can see myself using it for a long time to come.
Urban Decay All Nighter Make-Up Setting Spray - £9.00 (travel size)
I have always been a little dubious of make-up setting sprays and thought that they were a little gimmicky. However, after using this one from Urban Decay, I have been converted - this spray is seriously amazing! I purchased the travel size version as I didn't want to buy the full size one in case I didn't like the product but I think this bottle should last me for a long time anyway. I simply spritz a little of it over my face after I have completed my make-up to lock it in place all day. As I have oily/combination skin, my foundation seem to slip off of my face throughout the day but this spray keeps everything where it should be. Even after a long day, my make-up looks like it has just been freshly applied. From time to time I might be a little shiny on my T-zone area but it is very minimal. I would 100% recommend this product to anybody, especially now the weather is heating up!
Lush The Comforter Bubble Bar - £4.50
Last but not least is the amazing smelling bubble bar from Lush, which is another gift that my brother got me for my birthday at the end of last month. The Comforter is one of Lush's largest bubble bars and so you can definitely get quite a few uses out of it. I adore it's blackcurrant scent (it reminds me of Rowntreee's Fruit Pastille ice lollies) and it makes the whole bathroom smell heavenly. Not only this but it turns your bath water a beautiful colour and produces a lot of bubbles so that you can enjoy a nice, long soak in the tub!
I hope you enjoyed reading all about my June favourites and the products that I have been loving lately. Have you used any of the above products before? What are your favourites this month? Please let me know by leaving a comment below. Thank you!
