Yet Another Mini Boots Haul!

Yet again, I have another mini Boots haul for you all! As per usual, I found myself pacing up and down the aisles putting item upon item in my basket. Of course, this happens on a fairly regular basis for me but I surprisingly haven't bought myself to anything new in a while now (shock horror!) I have only found myself picking up some essentials here and there, rather than discovering new products. However, I decided to treat myself to a few bits and bobs in celebration of starting my new job last week!

Firstly, I picked up a Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Nail Polish (£6.99) in the shade 'Nude Now.' One of my favourite nudes from China Glaze has sadly dried up and now I have finally found a replacement for it. I have always loved both the formulation and the brush of Sally Hansen products, so I'm sure I'm going to love this one just as much. In the photograph above, the shade seems to look quite peachy and bright but in real life it is waaaay more subtle and nude in colour, I can assure you!

Then, another shade called caught my eye called 'Street Flair,' which is from the new Miracle Gel range (£9.99.) I am really into muted and understated colours right now - especially as we are entering into autumn - so, I just had to have it! I also purchased the matching top coat to go with it, which also cost £9.99. I love the look of glossy gel nails but I hate how hard they are to remove, so this range seems like the perfect fit for me. I cannot wait to apply this shade and see how long it lasts, so I will be sure to report back on my blog soon!

I also decided to pick up another shade of Bourjois' Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick (£8.99) called 'Don't Pink Of It.' I already have three other colours from the range in my collection (Frambourjoise, Beau Brun & Personne ne Rouge,) so you can tell that I am in love with this formula! I wanted to purchase a more wearable shade wasn't too vivid and was appropriate for wearing during the day time and I think this nude-y pink is just perfect for that.

Lastly, as well the products I treated myself to above, I needed to pick up another bottle of my hold grail foundation; Maybelline's Dream Satin Liquid Foundation (£7.99.) This foundation is barely spoken about online and it is extremely under-rated but I love it and have done for years now! 'Ivory' is the absolute perfect match for me, as it is the second lightest shade in the range that is yellow-toned rather than pink-toned. It blends seamlessly, is very buildable and gives a gorgeous satin finish to my skin. The only thing that I am slightly concerned about is the 'new formula' sticker on this new bottle, so I hope I still adore it just as much as I did before and fingers crossed that it hasn't changed too much.

So, there you have it guys, those are the five new products that I picked up in Boots! What do you think? Have you tried any of these products before? What have you hauled lately? Let me know, as always, by leaving a comment in the box below!

A Mini Revlon Haul

After saving up lots of Boots Advantage Card points over the past six months or so, I finally decided to bite the bullet and spend them whilst I was in store on Wednesday! I was planning on saving up a few more points so that I could purchase a more high-end item but it turns out that nothing was really catching my eye. Plus, I have already asked for some 'posh' make-up for my birthday (which is next week - yay!) So, with £17 worth of points to spend, I ended up perusing the aisles for quite a while until I stumbled upon the Revlon stand. Lots of items caught my eye and what with it being 3 for 2 on all of their products, I started swatching and putting things into my basket.

I have been wanting to get my hands on a few of the new Ultra HD Lipsticks (£7.99) for a while now and I decided to pick up the shades 'Orchid' and 'Hibiscus.' Orchid is a gorgeous bright fuchsia that packs a real punch and Hibiscus is a lovely orange/coral colour, which is perfect for this time of year. I have already tried these two out to test them and I love how they feel on the lips. They are so lightweight and feel more like a buttery balm than a lipstick! The fact that they are glossy rather than matte means that the lipsticks are not that long-lasting but they are beautiful nonetheless!

Most of the nail varnishes in my collection are red, pink and purple hues (apart from the odd nude or sparkly number,) so I wanted to pick up a blue shade that would be perfect for this summer. I have heard from countless bloggers that the ColorStay Gel Envy Nail Polish (£6.99) collection is really great, so I opted for the shade called 'Full House.' I am really excited to test this polish out as it is supposed to mimic real gel nails - aka super shiny and chip-resistant.

Lastly, there was an amazing deal where if you purchased three items you would receive a Lash Potion Grow Luscious Mascara (worth £9.99) for free! I opted for the waterproof version as even though I hate how difficult they are to remove if you don't have an oil-based make-up remover or cleanser to hand, I know that waterproof formulas hold a curl incredibly well. I have very straight and fine eyelashes and even when I use eyelash curlers, they tend to drop pretty quickly. I'll be sure to give this mascara a try and report back soon!

So, those are the four Revlon products that I managed to pick up using my Boots points earlier in the week. Have you tried any of these products before? What make-up items have you hauled recently? Let me know by popping a comment in the box down below!

Mini Spring Beauty Haul

Hi guys. It's been ages since I last did a good old-fashioned mini beauty haul but today I am rectifying that! This morning, I headed off to town in order to have a little browse in both Boots and The Body Shop. There are so many great products being released at the moment and I had so much fun looking around - I came out with a hand full of swatches, classic beauty blogger style! I didn't go crazy but I did get a few bits that I wanted to share with you all today. So, let's get started!

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter - £12.00
I have been using the cleansing oil from this same range for quite a while now but I am now close to running out. I was going to repurchase it, however, I decided to pick up the butter version instead to see how it compares. There was a tester of it in the store and from what I could tell, it's a gorgeous texture. I can't wait to use it for the first time tonight to remove my make-up - I'll be sure to let you know how I get on!

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Beau Brun - £8.99
I already have two other shades from this range and I absolutely love them, they are definitely some of the best lip products from the drugstore in my opinion. I love the formula, the finish and the longevity of them! I decided to pick up this dark nude, brown shade à la Kylie Jenner as I don't own any other colours like this in my lipstick collection.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Nude - £3.99
I have seen so many people rave about how wearing a nude eyeliner on your waterline really opens up your eyes and makes you appear way more awake than you actually are! I have heard that this one from Rimmel is really popular and I'm looking forward to adding this new simple step into my make-up routine.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Addiciton - £3.99
Similarly to the Rouge Edition Velvet above, I have been wanting to try out the whole Kylie Jenner lip trend for a while now and I wanted to experiment with some drugstore alternatives to see if it suits me before I bit the bullet and by MAC's 'Velvet Teddy.' I have heard a lot of great things about Rimmel's lip liners, so I picked up this gorgeous shade called 'Addiction.'

That's it for my mini beauty haul! I'm really happy with all of my new purchases and I cannot wait to start using them immediately. I'll make sure to come back and review the products properly once I have tested them out. What do you think of what I picked up? What have you purchased beauty wise recently? Let me know by leaving a comment below!

Mini Forever 21 Haul

Yesterday, I went out shopping with my Mum and she treated me to a few pieces from Forever 21. For the past couple of weeks, I have been attempting to update my wardrobe for spring & summer and so far I have found some gorgeous items. Forever 21 is a great store to go to when you want to get lots of things in one go because not only are their clothes really stylish, they are super affordable too! It is by my favourite store to shop in. Anyhow, without rambling on for too long, here are the three items I picked up.

First up is this stunning Floral Lace Mock Neck Top (£12.00.) I have been looking for some more dressy tops recently to pair with some high waisted jeans for when I go out to somewhere that doesn't require wearing a full on dress and heels combo. I loved this top in particular because to me, lace looks very sophisticated yet sexy at the same time. It is ever so slightly cropped which means that you one show a slither of skin. You could wear this top with a cropped black vest underneath it but I think wearing just a lplain black bra underneath would look amazing too. I can't wait to wear it!

The next thing I picked up with this cute Tribal Print Cami (£8.00.) I have really gotten into wearing camis lately as they are so girly and comfortable to wear. I also love the tribal print trend and so this top is the perfect fit for me! There was also a blue version of this top but I opted for this orange and brown colour instead as I do not have many neutral shades in my wardrobe like these. I know that I will definitely get a lot of wear out of it, in fact, I am wearing it as I type this post right now!

Lastly, I picked up this Striped Crop Top (£5.00) is it is a great basic to have within my wardrobe. Although on the website it is the price listed above, I actually found this item whilst browsing the sale rail and managed to snatch it up for a mere £1.99 - what a bargain! As with the other items in this haul, I know that this top will become a new staple for me as it is just so versatile.

So, those are the three items that I snapped up yesterday. What do you think of them? What are you doing to update your spring/summer wardrobe? I'd love to know, so please don't hesitate to leave a comment below!

Mini Haul | Forever 21, Play.com, O.P.I & China Glaze

Hi guys. I have bought a few random bits and bobs lately, so I thought it was only right that I did a mini haul on my blog! Hauls are one of my favourite types of blog posts to write as it enables me to share some great finds with my followers too. All of these purchases have been made over the past month or so and I am really excited about all of them. So, let's dive straight in to this mini haul!

V-Cut Floral Dress - £12.00
First up is this gorgeous dress from Forever 21. I am a huge fan of bodycon styles as I feel that they suit my petite frame and do not overwhelm me, plus the v-neck cut is very flattering. I am also a huge lover of floral patterns and the colour of this one combined with this kind of watercolour effect is really pretty and unique. Considering how affordable this dress is, the quality of it is amazing! The material is very thick yet stretchy and there is even boning around the deep V to add some more support. This dress comes in another colour too, which my best friend bought as we loved them both, so we actually got one each to swap and share!

Faking It by Cora Carmack - £6.99
I recently bought this book by the author Cora Carmack. 'Faking It' is the second book in a three part series that I discovered at the end of last year. In the first book 'Losing It,' a girl studying at university is aiming to lose her virginity. She eventually meets the perfect guy but it is soon revealed that their relationship is forbidden and the story unravels from there (I don't want to give anything away!) The second book, however, is kind of a spin-off as it follows one of the other characters featured in the first book on his own quest to find love. I became addicted to the first book and so I am really excited to start reading this one too!

As I completed a three day intensive nail course in October last year, I have been slowly building up my collection of professional nail polishes so that I can eventually start my own mobile nail technician business. As I completed my course at my nearby Sally's store, I have a trade card which enables me to get products at a cheaper price than they are sold to the general public. I actually picked up these five polishes on a VAT free day too, which means that they were even cheaper than usual! Even though I cannot remember the exact prices (they were all around the £5 mark,) I wanted to share these beautiful colours with you all.

O.P.I Nail Polishes
The first O.P.I nail varnish that I purchased is 'Live.Love.Carnival,' which is a stunning coral colour. It is incredibly bright, opaque and I think that it suits every skin tone. It's a great all-rounder! The gorgeous blue colour that you can see above is called 'Teal The Cows Come Home.' I really love this polish as it has a lot of shimmery particles running through it and sometimes is nice to choose a rarer polish to wear instead of your typical reds, pinks or neutrals, which most of us wear the majority of the time! The last O.P.I polish in this mini haul is 'Cajun Shrimp,' a striking orangey-red that really packs a punch. I think that this colour is a nice twist on a classic red and the slight orange hue makes it perfect for summer!

China Glaze Nail Polishes

The first polish I got is 'In A Lily Bit,' which is a really pretty pastel lilac colour. I am really into milky colours at the moment, despite the fact that they are quite difficult to apply, and I have a feeling that this colour will be a popular one amongst my future customers as it is quite unique. The second China Glaze polish that I bought is a very bright fuchsia/purple shade called 'Dune Our Thing'. I think this shade is a nice twist on a classic pink shade that a lot of people reach for, so I have a feeling that this one will get a lot of use too.

So that's it for my mini haul! I hope you all enjoyed reading some quick reviews on what I have purchased over the past few weeks. Which item is your favourite? What have you hauled recently? Let me know by leaving a comment below. Thank you!

Mini Haul | H&M, Forever 21 and Boots

Hi guys. Today I thought that I would share with you a couple of bits that I have acquired over the past two or three days. With spring well and truly underway, I have been attempting to update my wardrobe a little and for me, this means one thing and one thing only - florals! When it comes to clothing, I love patterns and I always seem to be drawn to anything flowery. This may mean that my style is very predictable, however, I know that they suit me as well as make me feel pretty and feminine. In addition to this, I also picked up one of my favourite skincare items in Boots too. So, let's get started on this mini haul!

H&M Floral Playsuit - £12.99
First up is this gorgeous playsuit from H&M. I am a huge fan of playsuits in general as I think that they suit my petite frame really well and I love that they make you feel a little more secure than dresses (I hate the mishap of wearing a dress on a windy day!) However, what drew me in to this particular one aside from the floral pattern is the back. The cross over straps add a really detail and unique touch to the design. For now, I am going to wear tights with this but if the weather in the UK ever heats up during summer, it will look stunning paired with some simple black sandals too.

Forever 21 Floral Fuse Crop Top - £5.50
Next is this really cute crop top from Forever 21. I absolutely love wearing crop tops and this monochrome one is right up my alley. I love the silhouette that a crop top creates when paired with something high waisted on the bottom half; I think this top will look great with my Topshop Joni Jeans. Not only this but Forever 21 crop tops are such great value, at a mere £5.50 how could anybody resist?!

Forever 21 Tropical Floral Bodycon Dress - £12.00
Carrying on with the floral theme, this tropical bodycon dress was my next purchase. Initially I thought that this was a little too vibrant and loud for me but after trying it on, I am in love with this dress. It fits like a glove and the tropical print is very striking. I think that this will look really nice with a bright pink lip for a night out, however, I think I could probably find a way to tone this dress down to be worn in the daytime too. Although there are a few differences between the two, Topshop have got a very similar dress in stock at the moment (see here) but at a fraction of the price, this dress is definitely the way to go!

Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean 3 in 1 Cleanser - £8.00
Last but not least is one of my favourite skincare products. The Peaches and Clean cleanser is so great at breaking down and removing my make-up, no matter how much I am wearing. I use this product both in the morning and the evening as it is just so refreshing and it makes my skin super soft. It's peach and menthol scent really makes your skin tingle as you are massaging it in, which makes it a great pick-me-up (especially in the morning time.) Ever since I started using this cleanser a few months ago, in conjunction with a few other products that I use daily, the condition of my skin has improved drastically. What makes this purchase even better is that I actually got it for £5.33, as there is a one third off offer on at Boots at the moment. So if you wanted to try this product out, I would grab it whilst the offer is still on!

I hope you all enjoyed reading about the fashion and beauty items that I have purchased this week. Which is your favourite item from the haul? What have you hauled recently? Please feel free to let me know by leaving a comment below. Thank you!
