My All Time Favourite Bath Duo
Lush Cosmetics' products make quite a regular appearance here on my blog because as most of you will already know, I have well and truly become a Lush addict over the past two years! There is nothing I enjoy more than treating myself to a colourful and delicious smelling bath in the evening after a long day at work. Not only does it relax me but it also allows me to have some quiet time to myself in order to reflect on my day.
Two of my favourite products that I like to use as part of my pamper routine are The Comforter Bubble Bar and the matching Shower Cream. I love them both individually as well but they work even better in conjunction with each other! The scent of The Comforter is a sweet blackcurrant smell - reminiscent of a Fruit Pastilles ice lolly that I used to have when I was younger. It is just soooo yummy! The main ingredients used to create both products are cassis absolute, bergamont oil and cypress oil.
The bubble bar creates lots of lovely bubbles when you crumble a piece of it under a running tap. It turns your bath water a gorgeous pink colour, which makes the experience even more girly and enjoyable! One thing I love about The Comforter is that is much bigger in size than most of Lush's other bubble bars, which means that you get plenty of baths out of one bar - which is great considering that it only costs £4.95!
Similarly, the matching shower cream lathers up really well and a little bit of product goes a long way. In the past, I have only purchased a mini 100g bottle and that lasts me for at least a month. Therefore, this time I went for the next size up (250g,) so I am sure that this bottle will last me for absolutely ages too! Unlike most of Lush's shower products, The Comforter has a creamy formula instead of being a regular shower gel, which means that is a way more moistursing for your skin. I also love how the scent lingers for hours on both my skin and in my bathroom, purely because I can just never get enough of this lovely sweet yet fruity scent!
If you haven't tried either of these products yet and you're a huge fan of Lush or you love sugary scents, then I would highly recommend this duo to you! If you do check them out, please let me know what you think of them by leaving a comment down below!

The Big Bang Bubble Bar!
If you love zesty and fresh scents, then this new bubble bar from Lush is just the thing for you! Personally, the fruity scents from Lush are my absolute favourite alongside the sweeter, candy-like ones such as the 'Creamy Candy Bubble Bar.' Although I do love a good old-fashioned bath bomb every once in a while, I have a serious love for bubble bars because they are much more moisturising and nourishing on your skin! Sure, they might not be all fizzy and exciting but they still smell delicious and leave your bath water a pretty colour too.
Big Bang (£3.75) is one of the newer bubble bars Lush have added to their permanent collection and I have been loving it so far. It has the most uplifting grapefruit, tangerine and lemon scent - which is a perfect combination for me. One of the other main ingredient featured in 'Big Bang' is avocado butter, which of course will leave your skin feeling super soft and hydrated. As for the colour of the bath water once you have crumbled it under a running tap to produce the bubbles, it goes a wonderful shade of blue!
I can quickly see this bubble bar becoming one of my new favourites (my current favourites are Brightside, The Comforter and Candy Mountain!) Fruity fragrances are my ultimate weakness and I will definitely be buying 'Big Bang' again once I get through my current stash of Lush goodies! I would love to know what your favourite Lush products are and if you have any recommendation for me; so please feel free to leave a comment down below!

A Mini Christmas Lush Haul
Lush products are a regular feature here on my blog nowadays and so it was pretty obvious that a Christmas haul was coming at some point! So, with my first pay packet from my new job, I decided to treat myself to a few bits and bobs. Of course, I could have gone absolutely crazy in store and put soooo many things in my basket but alas, I refrained. Although, I will definitely going back to pick up some more products in the near future as I have a lot of baths during the winter months. Clearly I was unintentionally going for some kind of pink & white theme during my latest visit too - oops! Anyhow, here are the few products that I chose to get my winter stash started...
Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar - £5.25
Even though the Magic Wand is a really popular item at Christmas time, I have never tried it before! However, I love anything that has a 'Snow Fairy' or candy-like scent, so this reusable bubble bar is right up my alley. The bell and ribbon make this product super cute and exciting to use as well. I cannot wait to have a sweet smelling bubble bath with this one!
So White Bath Bomb - £3.65
This is another bath bomb released in previous years that I am yet to try! The main reason why I was so attracted to 'So White' is because of it's unusual apple scent. It is so fresh and makes a nice change to the sweeter smells that I tend to lean towards at this time of year! It may not be the most colourful or exciting looking product of the bunch but I cannot wait to try it out nonetheless!
Razzle Dazzle Bath Oil - £2.00
I have used one of Lush's bath oils before in one of their Oxford Street exclusive gift sets that a friend bought me for my birthday and I loved it. So, I wanted to pick up 'Razzle Dazzle' to see if it made my skin feel just as smooth as the previous one did! It has a gorgeous fruity scent made up of raspberries, bergamot and lime. Plus, it has plenty of different oils to nourish and moisturise your skin!
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar - £2.95
'Candy Mountain' is one of my all time favourite bubble bars, right behind my number one Lush product 'The Comforter.' It has the most gorgeous vanilla and candyfloss scent which I adore, it's almost good enough to eat! It turns your water a pretty pastel pink colour and the silver, sparkly lustre leaves your skin with a subtle shimmer too!
Star Dust Bath Bomb - £2.95
Last but certainly not least is this super cute and festive bath bomb. 'Star Dust' predominantly has a vanilla scent to it with a hint of both bergamot and rosewood oils. To me, its shape and dusting of silver glitter just screams Christmas! After having a look on the website too (which now shows videos of the products being used,) it seems to have lots of little multi-coloured star confetti inside it, which is released as your bath bomb fizzes away in the water. How amazing and festive is that?!
Overall, I am so excited to have gotten my hands on a couple of Christmas products and I cannot wait until I can go back and pick up some more! I am really looking forward to bath time now, knowing that I have plenty of new items to try out. Have you picked up any of Lush's Christmas range yet? If not, will any of it be on your Christmas list? Let me know by leaving a comment down below!

Lush Skincare Empties
I am rather surprised that I have never done a Lush empties blog post before because as you all know by now, I am a Lush addict! The main reason that I tend to hang on to any Lush packaging is because if you take five empty pots back to a store, you receive a free face mask! I love schemes like this (similar to the Back To MAC one) because not only do you get a free product in return, but it feels great to know that you are doing your bit to recycle too! Furthermore, let's jump right into my five empty products and hear what I thought about them, shall we?
Tea Tree Water Toner - £4.50
I loved this toner water so much because it didn't strip my skin like some harsher toners with lots of chemicals in them do! This spray is super refreshing to use after cleansing and the tea tree helps to calm down any blemishes or redness on my skin. It can be either spritzed straight onto your face like a mist or onto a cotton pad so that you can then gently wipe it across your face. I tended to alternate between the two methods depending on how I felt on the day to be honest!
Mask Of Magnaminty Face Mask - £5.75
Although this mask didn't smell the greatest, I did like the effects that it had on my skin. It was really cooling upon application because all of Lush's face masks are fresh and must be kept in the fridge! It always left my skin feeling very calm and rejuvenated. I got about four or five uses out of this mask and I always put on a very generous and thick layer! It's not my favourite mask of theirs that I have tried but it is still one of the best in my opinion.
Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask - £5.75
Now on to my preferred mask of choice, 'Catastrophe Cosmetic.' I love its blueberry scent but the thing I love the most about this mask in particular is its texture. This mask definitely feels more clay-like and so it's really great at combating the oiliness of my skin. It is also excellent at soothing the skin, reducing the size of my spots and improving its overall texture. This mask is a must have for me and I need to re-purchase it ASAP!
Dark Angels Cleanser - £6.95
The reason that I used this cleanser was purely for its exfoliating purposes rather than its cleansing properties. Its gritty charcoal-based texture not only sloughed away any dead skin on my face but it also soaked up an excess oil on the surface of it too! The only downside to this product is that its really messy to use but if you are careful, cleaning it up afterwards doesn't take too long at all. In my eyes, this is just a small price to pay for such a lovely product!
Ultrabland Cleanser - £11.95
Last but not least is my holy grail cleanser, 'Ultrabland.' I have used quite a few cleansing balm and oils to remove my make-up but none have ever compared to this one, hence why I mention it so often here on my blog! I love knowing that I am using a product on my skin with lots of natural ingredients in it too, as they make my skin feel so nourished afterwards. This cleanser melts down even the heaviest of make-up looks with ease and that's why I love it so much! It is very rich and thick in texture but it never clogs up my skin, which is always a bonus.
So guys, those are the five empties that I have to show to you today. I hope that you found my mini reviews helpful! Have you ever tried ant skincare products from Lush and if so, what did you think of them? I would love to know - so, please leave me a comment down below with your thoughts and suggestions!

A Fresh + Fruity Lush Haul
After hearing the great news that some of Lush's exclusive products from their flagship store in Oxford street have now filtered down into all Lush shops, I knew that I had to pay my nearest one a visit! Of course, there are hundreds of new and exclusive products in the multi-story London store but some of the most popular ones are now widely available online, as well as across the entire country! On Friday, I went in with a completely open mind and come out with three gorgeous products to try! Furthermore, today I thought I would do a little haul and show you all what I picked up. So, let's dive right in!
Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask - £6.50
Before taking a look at the section of new products, I knew that I wanted to pick up a fresh face mask. My skin has been rather troublesome in the past few weeks or so and I wanted something that would soothe it, as well as control my pesky breakouts! Mask wise, I have only ever tried the Mask of Magnaminty before - which I didn't like too much - but after using Catastrophe Cosmetic last night, I can say that I love it already! Not only does this mask smell like yummy blueberries but it also contains calamine, chamomile and rose to calm your skin down too. Plus, my spots have already down-sized just after one use. I cannot wait to carry on using this mask once or twice a week to see even better results!
Yoga Bath Bomb - £3.95
I also knew that I wanted to pick up another one of their new bath bombs after having recently tried Intergalactic (which was bought for me by a friend a few months back.) I had heard a lot of great things about the Yoga bomb online, so I popped it straight into my basket. I normally go for sweet or fruity scents but this bath bomb has a gorgeous, albeit subtle, earthy smell to it instead. I can imagine that this bath bomb would be a great one to use if you've had a really busy day and you just need to relax your muscles and take a little breather! Yoga also contains lots of golden lustre in it, which definitely makes this bath bomb feel all the more special and exciting to use!
Beautiful Shower Gel - £4.75
Last but not least is brand new shower gel that I was convinced to purchase by the helpful sales assistant that I was talking to about all of the new releases. I went in with the intention of picking up another bottle of The Comforter Shower Cream, which is another exclusive product that I had already tried. However, I was later convinced to try Beautiful instead, which contains peaches and apricots. As I lover of fruity and zingy scents, I was immediately sold! The scent isn't too strong but after using it once, I can vouch that it is a great product to wake you up in the mornings. It also contains glitter but it doesn't really stay on your skin once you lather it up, which is the possibly the only downside to it. I only bought a tiny bottle this time to test out but I will definitely buy a bigger bottle again in the future as I really do love it so far.
So guys, those are the three products that I picked up! I hope you enjoyed this mini Lush haul and be sure to let me know if there are any more new products that I need to try next. I am always open to suggestions, so please do not hesitate to leave a comment letting me know down below!

Lush's Intergalactic Bath Bomb
Have you ever seen any Lush product as beautiful as the Intergalactic bath bomb..? I didn't think so! This gorgeous, glittering ball of goodness may just be one of my favourite Lush bath bombs of all time. I love everything from its appearance, its scent and the amazing colour that it turns my bath water. Up until recently this product was only available at Lush's new flagship store on Oxford Street, however, some of their most popular exclusive items are now being sold online (view here.) As I'm sure all of my fellow Lush fanatics will agree, this is extremely exciting news and I cannot wait to get my hands on even more new products such as the 'Frozen' bath bomb and the 'Pink Flamingo' bubble bar. Furthermore, today, I thought that I would give you all a mini review of 'Intergalactic' just in case you were interested in purchasing it. So, let's get started!
As you have probably already guessed, the Intergalactic Bath Bomb (£3.95) has a definite space theme to it. It's vivid blue exterior with yellow & bright pink ring around the middle almost looks like an actual planet! The main scents included in the product are peppermint, cedarwood and grapefruit, which you can imagine is incredibly refreshing and uplifting - and it is! Its smell fills the entire room without being too overpowering (to me its just right the right amount!)
The bath bomb also contains tons and tons of glitter and popping candy, which of course makes the experience all the more exciting! As soon as you pop it into the water, you can see all of the different colours start to swirl around and hear the faint popping of candy in the background. It really is an experience for all of your senses! Once it has fully fizzed away, you are left with the most sparkly and beautiful dark blue coloured bath water ever! I usually use this bath bomb at night, even though the scent itself is quite minty and invigorating because it does leave your skin absolutely covered in glitter and I don't quite fancy looking like a human disco ball during the daytime!
Although, with that being said, I still love this bath bomb to pieces! It is unlike any other bath bomb in Lush's entire range aside from maybe 'Shoot For The Stars,' which only comes out at Christmas time. Overall, I would highly recommend you pick up Intergalactic if you enjoy super colourful and fun baths or if you love really fresh scents. It has quickly become one of my absolute faves and I'm sure that it will soon become one of yours too!

My 21st Birthday Presents: The Lush Edition
As some of you may or may not know, it was my 21st birthday on Thursday. I cannot believe how old I am getting, the years really are flying by! I had such a wonderful day out with my parents and my boyfriend, (a lifestyle post of the day will be up soon,) and I got thoroughly spoilt by all of my friends & family presents wise too! They all know that I am absolutely addicted to anything Lush related, so naturally they all rushed out to get me some of their amazing gift sets! Of course, I got lots of other lovely presents which I will be sharing with you all at a later date but I thought that a peek at my new Lush stash would be a good place to start.

First up, one of my best friends Lucy decided to treat me to the 'Astronomical' gift box that is exclusive to Lush's new Oxford Street Store (how fancy!) I was so excited when I opened this up - I mean first and foremost, look how beautiful the packaging is! The box contains five brand new products; the Respect Your Elders Soap, Intergalactic Bath Bomb, Purple Fun, I Am A Radiant Being Luxury Bath Oil & The Comforter Shower Cream. I am super excited to test these out as not only is the bath bomb filled to the brim with glitter but the shower gel is based off of one of my favourite bubble bars! Lucy also threw in an extra Intergalactic bath bomb and the Godmother & Rock Star soap duo for good measure. This girl is just too good to me!

Next, my lovely boyfriend Kieran bought me the 'Happy Daze' gift set as one of my presents! He decided to get this set in particular as he knows that I love fruity scents the best - orange ones are specifically my weakness! This gorgeous set included; a mini Brightside Bubble Bar, Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb, Fizzbanger Bath Bomb and a mini Comforter Bubble Bar. I really excited to try out the two bombs in particular as I have surprisingly never had them before!
Last but certainly not least is the 'Rosie' gift box that my lovely friend Danielle bought for me! I have never tried ANY of Lush's rose-scented products before and so I am really look forward to putting them to the test. The five floral products in this set are as follows; Ro's Argan Body Conditioner, the Titsy Totsy Bath Bomb, an Amandopondo Bubble Bar, a Rose Jam Bubbleroon and a bottle of the Rose Jam shower gel to match.
It's safe to say that I am all set Lush wise for quite a while, doesn't it?! I am so thankful to have received these gifts and I am so excited to start using them. I might even review a few of them in the near future so be sure to look out for that! Also, a post showing the other gifts that I received for my 21st birthday will be up some time next week. I hope you all enjoyed seeing the presents that I got. Which product of the bunch is your favourite? Please let me know by leaving a comment down below!

Lush's Mask Of Magnaminty
One of the main beauty products that I normally neglect are face masks... well, that is until now! I have always been pretty lazy when it comes to incorporating masks into being part of my skincare routine and that is mainly down to the fact that I have never wanted to splash out on a product that I will only use once a week. Plus, I had never found one that worked well for my skin type! However, that all changed when my boyfriend recently treated me to this amazing mask from Lush Cosmetics.
The Mask of Magnaminty is full of natural ingredients that are super gentle on your skin but are still effective at the same time! Some of the main natural ingredients featured in this mask are peppermint oil, honey, African marigold oil and kaolin. The mint scented mask claims to be able to clean, calm and clear your skin of both spot outbreaks and any other impurities too - which I totally agree with! I like to apply this mask for 5-10 minutes once a week (usually on a Sunday evening) to restore my skin and give it a bit of a refresh. One thing that I like about this product in particular is that it has evening primrose seeds and aduki beans within the formula to gently exfoliate your skin as you rub it in as well, which ends up leaving your skin feeling incredibly soft after you remove the mask.
As some of you may know, Lush face masks are usually fresh and so most of them usually have an expiration date. However, I bought the self preserving version of this mask so that it would last for a lot longer and so I could ensure that I would not waste any of the product! A little goes a long way with this product too, so I know that I will not have to buy a new pot for quite a while.
Another great thing about this mask is that it can be used on your face or on your body too, so if anyof you suffer from spots or acne on your chest or back (something that I have battled with in the past,) this could be the perfect product for you!
For a small 125g tub of the Mask of Magnaminty, it will only set you back a mere £5.50. On the other hand, if you would like to purchase the larger 315g pot, you can get it for just £9.75. Personally, I think that this mask is excellent value for money in terms of how long it lasts. Plus, it is a lot more afforable than some of the more infamous and expensive masks out on the market that sometimes contain harsh chemicals and other nasties that can sometimes strip your skin!
So, what are you waiting for? Go and get your hands on this amazing face mask and see the difference that it makes you your skin! I guarantee that you will not be left disappointed!

Tickled Pink | My Current Lush Favourites
The Comforter Bubble Bar
First up is a product that is slowly becoming one of my all time favourite Lush products, The Comforter. This gorgeous bubble bar has the most amazing blackcurrant scent! It is a very sweet smell that to me has a slight resemblance to a Fruit Pastille ice lolly (who else agrees with me here?!) Not only this but as you crumble a piece of The Comforter under a running tap, it turns your bath a water a lovely pink colour - as well as creating lots of foamy bubbles! Being one of Lush's biggest bubble bars, you also get a lot for your money with this product, as you can get at least 4 uses out of it too.
Mmmelting Marshmallow Bath Melt
Next is a product that I had never tried until now, the Mmmelting Marshmallow bath melt. What drew me in to this product is of course it's super sweet marshmallow scentl, it's just lovely! The idea with this product is to simply pop it in your bath and allow it to slowly melt away, releasing lots of oils that will nourish your skin. As well as this, it leaves your bath a gorgeous pastel pink colour too. I can honestly say that this bath melt leaves you feeling silky smooth and smelling good enough to eat!
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
Last but certainly not least is one of Lush's limited edition bubble bars for Christmas, Candy Mountain. As you can probably tell from this post, I am a huge lover of sweet scents and so this is bubble bar is a total winner for me! Similarly to the marshmallow bath melt, it leaves your water a pastel pink colour. However, Candy Mountain has some shimmer running through it too in order to make your bath looking and feeling magical!
So, those are my three favourite Lush products at the moment. I absolutely love using them! There's something about any Lush product that makes bath time more exciting and relaxing, and these three certainly live up to that! I hope you have enjoyed reading about these three pink delights. Please let me know what your favourite Lush products are by leaving a comment below!

Lush's Twilight Bath Bomb
Hi guys. Last Wednesday, I received one of my first Christmas presents from my good friend Lucy at our annual festive girls night. As part of my gift, she bought me Lush's Twilight bath bomb. As I'm sure that all of you are aware by now, I have become the worlds biggest Lush fanatic ever since I started using their products after being gifted with some products last Christmas! I had tried Twilight once before and I loved it, so I was extremely happy to receive another one!
The following night, I couldn't resist popping this pink beauty into my bath! One of my favourite things about this bath bomb is the colour that it turns my bath water. As Twilight begins to fizz, it releases swirls of pastel pink and blue which eventually then turns into the most gorgeous lilac colour (purple is my favourite colour, hence why I love this product so much!) Plus, the bomb also contains tiny particles of glitter that make your bath water look magical.
Aside from that, Twilight's scent is absolutely divine. The blend of lavender and ylang ylang make for a super relaxing bath after a long and tiring day. In the past, I had never been the biggest fan of lavender as it is quite potent, but this scent is really subtle and soothing. On Lush's website, they claim that Twilight can help aid a good nights sleep. I'm not sure if the product itself improved my slumber that night but the bath itself really did help me rewind after what was quite a stressful day.
Overall, Twilight is a gorgeous little bath bomb and I highly recommend it to anybody who likes to pamper themselves and unwind after a long day! Lush products are a great way to treat your loved ones this Christmas, so if you still haven't completed your Christmas shopping, maybe a bath bomb or two would be a great stocking filler!

Another Mini Lush Haul!
Hi guys. As I'm sure you are all aware by now, Lush have just released all of their new Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas products for this year both in store and online. I am super excited for all of the various new bath bombs, bubble bars and bath melts they have to offer and I knew that I had to get my hands on some as soon as possible. Therefore, when I heard that my friend was going to pass a Lush store yesterday, I asked her to pick me up a few bits. Two out of the three items I bought are from the new releases and the other is a product that I have been eyeing up for quite a while. So, today I thought that I would show you what items I went for and what my first impressions of them are. Let's get started!
Northern Lights Bath Bomb - £3.50
This is probably the product that I am most excited about out of the three! As it is based on Bonfire Night, this purple coloured bath bomb looks absolutely amazing. It has a calming jasmine and ylang ylang scent which is perfect for a cold and dark evening when you need a pick me up. Looking at the Lush website, the bomb gives your bath water a mystical array of colours as it fizzes away. Northern Lights also has lots of little confetti stars running through it which I think is such a lovely touch, plus it adds even more excitement to your bath time. I cannot wait to use it!
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar - £2.75
As I am such a huge fan of the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar already (it's my all time favourite Lush product,) I knew that I had to get it's Christmas themed equivalent. I absolutely adore its sweet candy floss scent and I am excited to have a gorgeous pink bath with lots of bubbles. I also love that the bar is covered in glitter dust too, as it makes it feel so festive. Bubble bars tend to make my skin feel really soft and nourished too, which is just what I need at this time of year. Who knows, Candy Mountain might overtake Creamy Candy is my new favourite product but let's hope not, seeing as it is limited edition!
Sakura Bath Bomb - £3.25
Last but certainly not least, I have been wanting to try this bath bomb for quite a while now. I love fruity fragrances the most out of any scent and this bomb combines this with some floral elements too. Sakura contains jasmine oil, lemon oil and orange flower to create this gorgeous scent, which I think will be perfect for when I want to freshen up as opposed to the other two products that are more relaxing and soothing. I am not too sure what colour my bath water will turn with this one but I cannot wait to find out.
So, those are the three items that my friend very kindly picked up for me whilst out shopping yesterday. I am really excited to try them all out and I'm certain that I will be buying some more Christmas products very soon! What is your favourite Lush product? Which product from my mini haul do you like the look of the most? Please let me know by leaving a comment below!

Lush's Dark Angels Cleanser
Hi guys. Today I am reviewing one of my favourite skincare products from Lush Cosmetics; Dark Angels. After only having used Lush's bath products in the past, on a trip to my local store a few months ago I was interested to have a little look around and see what else the store had to offer. With some help from a lovely sales assistant, I walked away with a tub of the Ultrabland cleanser (review here) and a tester of Dark Angels that she thought I would also enjoy. After using up every little scrap of the tester and seriously loving the results, I knew I had to go back and buy the full size version... and now I have finally got my hands on it!
Dark Angels is a charcoal based cleanser that also has great exfoliating qualities. Therefore, I find that this product is perfect for my skin type as I have oily skin that is also prone to dry patches. The reason for this is that charcoal is a well-known ingredient for balancing out oily/combination skin and combating shine. Another main ingredient in Dark Angels is black sugar, which again helps to exfoliate the skin alongside the charcoal. Also, as scrubbing your skin can sometimes leave it feeling stripped or sensitive, avocado oil has also been added to the product to inject some moisture back into your skin and to soften it a little.
To use the product, all you have to do is get a small amount of it on to your hand and then add a little bit of water until it forms a paste, and then apply it in circular motions to your skin. Due to the fact that Dark Angels is an exfoliant and can be abrasive, I tend to be very gentle when applying it and I also avoid going to close to the skin around my eyes, which is extremely sensitive. I also like to apply a rich moisturiser after rinsing Dark Angels off of my skin for an extra hit of hydration too. I always use this product at night time before bed and when I wake up the next morning, I am always super pleased with the results. My skin looks clearer, fresher and a lot less oily!
The only downfall to this product in my opinion is that it can be incredibly messy to use. Little bits of charcoal and murky grey water seem to find their way all around my sink, which is a little bit annoying but it can easily be wiped or washed away. However, despite this, I think that it is a small price to pay considering how amazing the product is!
Overall, I cannot recommend Dark Angels enough! It is an excellent 2-in-1 product that offers a deep cleanse and exfoliation all in one. It is great at balancing out oiliness, clearing up blemishes and just generally refreshing and renewing your skin! Although it may be a little messy to use, it is extremely worth it for the results that you can see just after one use. Plus, a little goes a long way and so this product is great value for money too.
Dark Angels comes in two sizes; 100g for £6.40 and 25g for £16.00, which you can buy in any Lush store or on their website here.

I'm A Lush Addict!
Hi guys. I think it's safe to say just by the amount of posts I have written about Lush products so far this year that I am well and truly a Lush addict! There's nothing I love more than taking a long bubble bath and these products make the entire experience a lot more fun and special. These five products were given to me for my birthday a little while ago and although I briefly mentioned them in my 'What I Got For My 20th Birthday' posts back in May, I wanted to talk about each item today in more detail. So, let's get started!
Creamy Candy Bubble Bar - £2.60
First up is my favourite ever Lush product. Creamy Candy is a gorgeous bubble bar that turns your bath water a cute pale pink shade. I normally use half a bar per bath and crumble it under a running tap to create the perfect amount of bubbles. The main reason I love this product so much is due to the fact that it smells of candy floss and all things sweet and yummy! This var also contains a mixture of cocoa butter and almond oil too, which leaves you skin feeling silky soft.
Sex Bomb Bath Bomb - £3.25
Next up is the infamous Sex Bomb bath bomb, which is one of Lush's most popular products and rightly so! This jasmine, ylang ylang and sage scented bomb claims to ease stress and 'get you in the mood.' Although I wouldn't say that those statements are true, I did enjoy using this product and it does smell heavenly. As it fizzes, it turns your bath water a bright pink colour which makes Sex Bomb the perfect product for a pamper night.
The Comforter Bubble Bar - £4.50
The Comforter is a bit of a new discovery for me and I am absolutely obsessed with it. I would definitely say that it is my second favourite bubble bar (nothing will ever replace Creamy Candy for me!) This bar smells like blackcurrant and berries, which means that it is extremely fragrant and makes your entire bathroom smell amazing. This product also creates a lot of bubbles when you run it under the tap. I also like that The Comforter is one of the biggest bubble bars, so you can get a lot of uses out of it too!
Pop In The Bath Bubble Bar - £2.95
The third and final bubble bar included in this post is Pop In The Bath. This cute little bar has a fresh and floral fragrance which also includes citrus oils to add a little zest too. What's great about this product is that it comes in three different colour variations; so you can choose your favourite out of green, white or blue. Like all bubble bars, Pop In The Bath creates lots of lovely bubbles, as well as nourishing your skin at the same time. I'm not too sure if I would purchase it again as I do prefer other ones more but it was still enjoyable to use.
Think Pink Bath Bomb - £2.50
Last but not least is the Think Pink Bath Bomb. I loved its vanilla fragrance and it made my whole bathroom smell incredible. This particular bomb also contains lavender oil, which means that it is a great product to use to unwind at night time. Not only does it turn your bath water bright pink but as it dissolves, it releases lots of little rice paper love hearts - which makes this bath bomb super cute and fun to use!
I hope you have all enjoyed reading about these five lovely products from Lush, as I certainly enjoyed using them! Please let me know if you have tried any of these products before, what you thought of them and so on. Also, I am always open to recommendations and I would love to know of any Lush items that you love and think I would enjoy. So, please feel free to leave a comment below. Thank you :)

Lush's 'Relax... Take A Bath' Gift Set
Hi guys. Over the past six months I have become a major Lush addict, ever since I was first bought some of their products for Christmas. I love taking long, relaxing baths and using colourful bath bombs and so on makes it all the more exciting! As it was my birthday recently, my boyfriend kindly bought me the 'Relax... Take A Bath' gift set as part of my present. Inside, the gift set contains three popular Lush items; a Dreamtime Luxury Bath Melt, a Twilight Bath Ballistic and a Dorothy Bubble Bar. This particular set contains products that are specifically designed to relax you and to help you de-stress, which is perfect for me. I have loved using these products of a night time to really help me switch off and unwind. So, today I thought that I would share my thoughts on each product in the box with you all. Let's get started!
Firstly, the Dreamtime Luxury Bath Melt is an incredibly luxurious bath melt that has lots of ingredients to help nourish your skin. As it contains cocoa butter, lavender oil and chamomile, it leaves your skin feeling very soft and in tip-top condition. I simply popped the melt into my bath whilst it was running to release all of the oils. This product does not produce any bubbles but it does leave your bath nice and milky in texture. Plus, the melt also releases pieces of dried jasmine to help relax you even further!
Next up, the Twilight Bath Ballistic is designed to soothe your skin and calm you down before bedtime. With ingredients such as lavender and ylang ylang oil, this bath bomb is extremely relaxing. As Twilight fizzes away, its pink and blue swirls eventually turn the water into a gorgeous deep lilac colour. The bomb also releases a ton of glitter particles to make your bath even more special!
Last but not least, and my favourite of the three, is the Dorothy Bubble Bar. I crumbled some of the bubble bar under running water and it generated lots of lovely bubbles. It also turned the water a gorgeous blue colour too. The scent of Dorothy is not too over-powering and the combination of ylang ylang oil, orange flower & gardenia extract makes for a lovely floral scent. This product made my skin feel silky soft and I will definitely be purchasing another one soon!
So, that was my review of the lovely 'Relax...Take A Bath' gift set from Lush Cosmetics. I hope you all enjoyed reading about these three amazing bath products just as much as I enjoyed using them. I think it's safe to say that I am a fully-fledged Lush addict now! Not only do the products look and smell amazing but their ingredients are very beneficial for your skin as well. Have you tried any of these products before? Which Lush products are your favourites? Please let me know by leaving a comment below. Who knows, you could even recommend a new product for me to try! Thank you :)

Lush's Ultrabland Facial Cleanser
Hi guys. On a last minute trip to Lakeside on Saturday morning, I decided to pop into Lush in search of a little treat for myself. I have only ever used Lush's bath products before
and seeing as I have asked for a lot of that stuff for my birthday, I thought that I would check out what else the store had to offer. The shop assistant was very helpful and led me around the store talking to me about various scrubs and soaps. However, I eventually decided on picking up a new cleanser. So today, I thought that I would post a mini review letting you know what I think of it so far. Let's get started!
Ultrabland is a gentle cleanser which contains ingredients such as almond oil, rose water, beeswax and honey. The product comes in two sizes; the 45g pot is £6.95 and the 100g pot is £10.95. I opted for the smaller size as I thought that would be the best option for me, just in case I did not get on well with the product. Although Ultrabland is described on its packaging as an oily cleansing cream, the assistant assured me that it would be fine to use on my oily/combination skin and that it would in fact help to balance it out and boy, was she right! Of course, I have only been using this product for three days but so far I am absolutely loving it!
Upon application, Ultrabland feels very luxurious and despite its thick consistency, it is incredibly easy to massage into my skin. I tend to apply it dry, emulsify it with some water and then remove it with either a muslin cloth or a flannel depending on what I have on hand. The main reason that I have been loving this cleanser so far is due to the fact that the ingredients are so natural. I really feel like the product is doing my skin the world of good as I use it. Plus, it leaves my skin feeling ridiculously soft and nourished too. I have also read some reviews that claim Ultrabland has calmed down their problematic skin and has dramatically reduced oiliness, although it may take a bit longer for me to see those results as I have not been using the product for long enough yet! So, I will keep you posted on that front.
Although I love my Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean 3-in-1 Deep Purifying Cleanser (£8.00,) I feel like this product could overtake it (and that's a pretty big statement for me!) I just love the results that Ultrabland has given me after just a few days. My skin has been going a bit haywire lately and I'm hoping that this cleanser will continue to work wonders and that hopefully, my skin will be a lot calmer for my birthday. Fingers crossed!
Overall, this cleanser is absolutely amazing so far and I definitely recommend to all of you. A little goes a long way with this formula, so it is great value for money too! Have you used Ultrabland before? What did you think of it? What is your favourite cleanser? Please let me know by leaving a comment below. Thank you!

Mini Lush Haul
Hi guys. Last week, I took a trip to my local Lush store in order to treat myself to a few bits and bobs. Shockingly, up until Christmas I had never tried any Lush products. However, my best friend and my boyfriend both got me some as gifts and from then on, I have become utterly obsessed! I even wrote a post back in January about my first experience with the brand, which you can go and read about here if you are interested. I definitely used to be more of a shower person, but now I much prefer baths because Lush products just make it way more exciting. I just cannot get enough! Knowing that my stash was running out, I knew I had to go into a store myself and grab a few items. Although, believe me, it was a tough decision - I could have bought everything and I was in the store for a very long time! With that being said, I whittled it down to just three products and here is what I think of them.
Creamy Candy Bubble Bar - £2.50
The Creamy Candy Bubble Bar was one of the products my best friend bought me for Christmas and I am in love with it. Out of every Lush item I have smelt or used, this is without a doubt my favourite so far. It has a lovely, sweet candy floss scent which lingers on your skin for hours. The bar also contains almond and cocoa butter which make your skin so soft. It turns your bath water a soft pink colour and creates a good amount of bubbles depending on how much of the bar you use. Sometimes, to get more uses out of Lush bubble bars, I team them with some ordinary bubble bath so I do not need to use as much of the bar each time.
Dragons Egg Bath Bomb - £3.25
Next up is the product that I was most excited about using. The Dragons Egg Bath Bomb smells exactly like lemon sherbet, which is great because I am a huge lover of citrus scents! The bomb itself fizzes and releases lots of different spots of colour, which are hidden inside the bomb, until it finally turns your bath water a vibrant, orangey gold. The bomb also contains a very fine glitter which stays on your skin all day, which makes it extra special in my book! I really enjoyed using this product as its smell is very invigorating and uplifting, I highly recommend it to anybody who likes fruity scents. It is fun to use and has lots of properties that benefit your skin too!
Brightside Bubble Bar - £4.50
Last but not least is the Brightside Bubble Bar, which is part of Lush's newly released Easter range. However, this bubble bar is apparently going to be part of the permanent range because of its popularity. The bar includes the following ingredients which make up its extremely fruity scent: Sicilian mandarin, bergamont and tangerine. Similar to the Dragons Egg Bath Bomb above, I love citric scents as they are just so fresh and really wake you up. I didn't use too much of the bar as I really want it to last, so my bath water was left a pale orange colour. Although, I still got a great amount of bubbles despite only using a small chunk of product. I can tell that this will definitely be one of my new favourite bath products now that spring is fast approaching!
So, I hope that you all enjoyed reading about my thoughts on these three wonderful Lush products. I can honestly say that I am becoming a Lush addict! What are your favourite Lush products? Please let me know in the comments below. Thank you!

My First Ever Lush Products
Creamy Candy Bubble Bar - £2.50 each
This bubble bar is definitely my favourite of the bunch! As you can probably tell from the title, it has a lovely candy floss scent. Usually, I hate overly sweet scents but this one is really subtle. As I am a bit of a Lush beginner, I had to Google how to use a bubble bar and all you have to do is simply crumble a little bit of it under a running tap and it creates bubbles. I love how, unlike bath bombs, you can get multiple uses out of this product - which is great seeing as this one is my favourite! The bar also turned my bath water a baby pink, which was really nice. Not only this, the creamy texture of the bubble bar made me skin really soft and I got a few compliments on how I smelt, which shows how much this gorgeous scent lingers too. This product is definitely a winner!
Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb - £3.30 each
Next up is this Christmas-themed bath bomb. Looking at it's green exterior, I presumed that when I dropped this product into the bath the water would, of course, turn green. However, after dissolving for a little while, I noticed that the core of this bomb was a deep red/wine colour which eventually made it look like my bath was full of Ribenna or something! Not only was I amazed by the colour of my bath, the products scent was really lovely. According to Lush's website, this bomb includes vanilla mixed with black pepper and patchouli oil (whatever that is!) In addition, and unsurprisingly, Lord Of Misrule also made my skin feel really silky!
Karma Bubble Bar - £3.25 each
Last but not least is yet another lovely bubble bar, Karma. When I first unpackaged this particular bar, its bright and swirly design drew me in instantly. Doing exactly the same as I did with the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar, I broke off a fraction of the bar and crumbled it under the tap and was extremely pleased with the results. Karma produced a great amount of bubbles (though slightly less than Creamy Candy,) dyed the water a pastel orange/pink and it's fruity scent was heavenly. If any of you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know that my favourite scents are usually fruity and light. The final bonus with this bar, as with every Lush product, was that my skin was left feeling lovely and incredibly nourished.
I hope that you all enjoyed reading about my first ever experience using Lush products. I am definitely hooked on this amazing brand and have already been browsing at what products I want to buy for myself next after I finish up all of the gifts that I received. What are your favourite Lush products? Let me know down below. Thank you :)
